On June 1, 2019, new regulations came into effect for drone operators in Canada.

These regulations apply for drones that weigh between 250 grams and 25 kilograms and that are operated within the drone pilot’s visual-line-of-sight, regardless of whether operators are using their drones for recreational or commercial purposes.
